McCormick Drops Career-High 21 in Men’s Basketball Season Finale at Marymount

ARLINGTON, Va. — Quinn McCormick scored a game- and career-high 21 points but the Pratt Institute men's basketball team wrapped up their 2024-25 campaign with a 79-57 defeat to Marymount University on Friday evening at the Converse Family Fieldhouse.

McCormick shot 9-of-15 overall to finish in double-figures for the second time in his career and pulled down a game-high seven rebounds. McCormick helped carry the Cannoneers in the opening 20 against the defending Atlantic East champions, as his bucket with 2:10 before intermission for his 15th point – surpassing his previous best – pulled Pratt within two, 32-30, but Marymount closed out the period with five unanswered to take a 37-30 lead into the lockers. Thomas Graetz also had a strong first half, going 3-for-3 from three-point land, before finishing with 12 points and two rebounds.

Cameron Windt rounded out three in double figures also netting 12 points while pulling down three rebounds and handing out three assists. Sebastian Roda chipped in six points. Benjamin Labee grabbed five boards in a reserve role.

Marymount (16-9, 9-3) stretched their lead to double figures with a 13-2 run that widened the gap to 54-37 and they maintained that separation shooting 57 percent in the second half. Marcus Stubbs and Isaac Harris scored 18 points each to lead the Saints who secured the No. 2 seed in the 2025 Atlantic East Championship commencing next week.

Pratt concludes their inaugural season in the conference at 2-22 overall and 2-10 in league play.
