BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Senior midfielder Emma Pratt (North Attleboro, Mass.) scored three goals in the opening 13 minutes as the Pratt Institute women's soccer team closed the regular season with a 9-0 victory over Saint Elizabeth University on Wednesday afternoon at Floyd Bennett Sports Complex.
With the victory, Pratt (8-5-0, 4-3) clinched the No. 3 seed for the upcoming 2026 Atlantic East Conference Women's Soccer Championship.
Emma Pratt set the tone immediately, finding the back of the net unassisted just over a minute into the contest for what proved to be the game-winning goal. She doubled the advantage in the 12th minute and then completed her natural hat trick just seconds later in the 13th minute to put the Cannoneers ahead 3-0.
Junior forward Kate Nolan (Perth, Australia) made it 4-0 in the 17th minute off an assist from Emma Pratt. First-year midfielder Fiona Sutherland (Naperville, Ill.) scored her first collegiate goal in the 19th minutes sophomore midfielder Juno Joshua (Middletown, Del.) found her with a long through ball to put her in on goal.
Senior defender Annabella Russell (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) notched a highlight from near the midfield line in the 28th minute firing a shot high over the keeper, and junior defender/forward Kemi Ayeni (Stockbridge, Ga.) scored in the 41st minute to send the Cannoneers into the break with a 7-0 lead.
Pratt added two more goals in the second half before the match concluded in the 71st minute. Junior defender Maya Ford (Austin, Texas) converted a feed from Nolan in the 51st minute for her first collegiate goal, and Nolan capped the scoring with her second goal of the day in the 58th minute.
Senior goalkeeper Savannah Depaz (Chapel Hill, N.C.) started in net, played nearly 28 minutes to earn the decision, and later entered as a second-half field substitute. Junior goalkeeper Angelina Perez (Jamaica, N.Y.) handled the remaining 43 minutes of action. The duo combined on the clean sheet without facing a shot.
For the Eagles, goalkeeper Danielle Fredo went the distance and recorded 14 saves.
Pratt held a 38-0 advantage in total shots, including a 23-0 edge in shots on goal, and earned all 12 corner kicks in the match to complete a two-game regular-season sweep of Saint Elizabeth.
The two teams will meet again on Saturday, Oct. 31, in the first round of the 2026 Atlantic East Women's Soccer Championship at Floyd Bennett Sports Complex. Kickoff time will be announced.
