BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute women's basketball team honored seniors Kylie Grant (Dallas, Texas) and Miga Higa (Torrance, Calif.) before concluding its 2025-26 season with an 89-30 loss to Atlantic East Conference first place and defending champion Immaculata University on Saturday afternoon at the Activity Resource Center.
Anabela Jakelic (Zagreb, Croatia) led the Cannoneers with 12 points and nine rebounds. In her final game, Grant scored 11 points, grabbed five rebounds, and nabbed three steals. Emily Carlson (Utica, N.Y.) cleaned up the glass, pulling down a team-high 10 rebounds to go along with five points. Graduate Higa started and contributed two points and two steals.
The Mighty Macs high-powered offense built a 30-5 lead in the first quarter. The Cannoneers responded with their best offensive period in the second, putting up 14 points, including a seven-point effort from Grant. However, the visitors maintained a 44-19 lead at the half and maintained their separation.
Immaculata (22-3, 14-0 Atlantic East) displayed its depth with 12 different players scoring, led by 13 points and 10 rebounds from Carly Coleman. Abby Grillo added 12 points, while Julia Pohl chipped in with 10 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.
Grant finishes her illustrious career with 1,381 points, 754 rebounds and 211 assists. Pratt concludes its 2025-26 campaign with a 1-21 mark.
