As a junior (2016): Appeared in all 15 matches for the Cannoneers…totaled 349 kills while hitting an overall .277 percentage…averaged a career-best 6.35 kills per set…led the team with 306 digs…recorded double-digit kills in 13-of-15 games…notched 33 kills while hitting at a .347 percentage against Medgar Evers, 2/18…posted a season-high 38 in a 5-set win against St. Joseph’s of Brooklyn, 3/10.
As a sophomore (2015): Established himself as one of conference''s finest all-around players in program''s inaugural season in HVIAC ... led league in kills per set (4.96 in HVIAC play) and digs per set (5.13 in HVIAC) both overall and in conference play ... tied for second in service aces per set in league matches (0.52) ... totaled 15 kills and 17 digs in leading Pratt to a 3-1 victory over defending HVIAC Champion Yeshiva, 2/11/15, and slammed 12 kills against Purchase, 2/12/15, in earning first HVIAC Player of the Week honor ... tallied second Player of the Week award after leading Cannoneers to wins over Culinary Institute of America and Sarah Lawrence, 3/6 and 3/7/15 ... slammed a season-best 27 kills in win over St. Joseph''s-Brooklyn, 3/26/15 ... hit a scorching .567 with 19 kills in 3-0 win at Webb, 3/27/15 ... efforts at St. Joe''s and Webb led to third Player of the Week honor... helped Pratt close out a share of the best league record and earned fourth Player of the Week award by pounding 17 kills with 19 digs, seven aces and one block in a four-set win over Webb, 4/2/15.
As a freshman (2014): Led team in kills per set (3.75), digs per set (3.61), and attack percentage (.202) ... paced Pratt with six kills and seven digs in program''s first match vs. Fontbonne, 2/16/14 ... tallied match-bests of 14 kills to go with match-high 10 digs in program''s first-ever win, 2/16/14, at Sarah Lawrence ... hit a season-high .522 in win at SLC ... paced all players with season-highs of 25 kills and 33 digs in 3-2 win over Cooper Union, 2/28/14 ... in 3-2 loss to Yeshiva, led all players with 19 kills and 22 digs, 3/23/14.
About David: Also played football at Viewpoint High School in Calabasas, CA ... lettered on Pratt''s cross country team in 2014 ... honored by division of student affairs with emerging leader award in 2015.
