Thompson is excited to add Remley to his staff. "I couldn't be more excited to have Hunter join our staff. From competing against him in the Empire 8, I know that he brings a competitive spirit that I admire and will be an excellent addition to the staff. He has also worked with some of the people I respect the most in basketball, and they always reiterate how good of a person Hunter is. He is a fantastic relationship builder, which was evident throughout the interview process. That will help us in working with our current group, as well as allowing him to excel as a recruiter!"
Remley interned with NJIT in 2018 in the athletic department and assisted with sports management related activities including NCAA team contracts, field preparation, press releases, and statistics. Additionally, Remley has served as a coach and camp counselor at Mendham Basketball Camp and Bengals Basketball Camp.
