Randy Velasco

Randy Velasco was named head coach of Pratt Institute men's soccer in August 2018. 

In his first season at the helm in 2018, Velasco led the Cannoneers to three wins including back-to-back road victories on September 7 and 16. On September 29 against Webb Institute, the Cannoneers capped off a 3-0 win, its first shutout in program history.

Velasco comes to Clinton Hill after spending two seasons as the head women’s coach at the College of St. Elizabeth of Morristown, NJ. Prior to his position there, Velasco served as an assistant and goalkeeper coach at Kean University for six seasons. During his tenure, the Cougars finished with an overall record of 64-35-19 and captured two ECAC Championships, in 2012 and 2013.

Velasco earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Physical Education from Kean University and is currently pursuing his master's degree through the College of St. Elizabeth.
