Wilfredo Rivera is in his second season as the head coach of the women's basketball team, following two seasons as an assistant coach at Pratt Institute.

In his first season as head coach, Rivera led the Cannoneers to a 6-11 record including two wins over NCAA opponents.

Prior to his arrival at Pratt, Rivera served as an assistant coach at the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club. 

Rivera graduated from Adelphi University with a bachelor's degree in sports management. While at Adelphi, he served as a student manager and practice player for the women's basketball team, where his responsibilities included recording and editing all practice and game film.
