Dean Bennett joined Pratt Athletics and Recreation on January 12, 2021 and became the fourth coach in program history.

For the past two years, Bennett has been the assistant men’s volleyball coach at St. Elizabeth University. While at St. Elizabeth, he assisted with many aspects of the program, including recruitment and retention of student-athletes.  In two seasons as assistant coach, the eagles went from a 5-17 record during the 2019 season and improved to a 9-6 record in a shortened season in 2020.  

A 2018 graduate of Dean College, Bennett earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management. A two-year player, Bennett was part of the program as Dean College began the transition to NCAA Division III. 
 
Bennett is currently working towards his Master of Business Administration from the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
