HACKETSTOWN, NJ – Pratt bested host Centenary College 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 26-24) after falling to Cabrini College by the same score at the Cyclones tri-match in non-conference women's volleyball play Saturday afternoon.
Junior middle hitter Charlotte Burch led all players with 10 kills and a season-high.471 attack percentage in the win over the host Cyclones, and Rachel Blackburn's seven kills and .375 attack percentage marked her finest effort of the season.
Joan Wyeth's team-high 16 digs were also a season best, while Alli Houghton dished out 21 assists in orchestrating a .213 team attack percentage, the Cannoneers third-highest in 15 matches.
In the 11-25, 14-25, 12-25 loss to Cabrini, Burch led the team with seven kills and only three errors on 16 attempts for a .250 attack percentage. Houghton handed out 10 assists, while Wyeth led the team with nine digs. Sophomore Madelyne Grabowski added a solo block and five digs.
Cabrini's Christin Ingargiola paced all players with eight kills, while Chelsea Jones added four kills and a match-best .429 attack percentage.
At 4-11, Pratt returns to the floor on Thursday, playing host to SUNY Maritime.
