SOMERSET, NJ – Pratt Institute men's soccer team dropped a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match against the Lions of King's College, 4-0, Friday evening in New Jersey.
The Lions got on the board first following a goal in the 35th minute. The Pratt defense, anchored by freshman goalkeeper Jack Foster, would tighten and concede no other scores as the Cannoneers headed into the half trailing 1-0.
Into the second half, the Cannoneers struggled as they were unable to find the back of the net. King's would add three after intermission and prevail by the score of 4-0.
With the loss, Pratt falls to 2-8 on the season, while King's record improved to 4-4-2 overall.
Up Next: The Cannoneers continue their conference schedule as they welcome the Knights of Berkeley College to Randall's Island on Saturday afternoon. A 4:00 pm kickoff is scheduled.
