GLEN COVE, NY— The Pratt Institute men's volleyball improved to 7-4 with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-21, 25-8) away victory over Webb Institute Sunday afternoon.
Freshman Dean Liaw again led the way for the Cannoneer offense, registering 17 kills on 27 attempts while, hitting at a staggering .593 clip. Senior Ari Grant matched his season-high with 11 kills, while David Cutler eclipsed the 200 assists mark for the season as he totaled 26 for the victors.
On the defensive end, Kristopher Patton and Justin Tiglao tallied 17 and 11 digs respectively. At the net, Grant and Liaw each added two blocks as the Cannoneers recorded their sixth-straight win over the Webbies dating back to 2014.
The service game was again highly-effective for Pratt as they notched ten aces for the match, led by three from Andreas Haji-Georgi.
The Cannoneers continue their season this Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. against Sarah Lawrence at the Pratt ARC.
