YORK, PA – The Pratt Institute women's basketball dropped their first contest of 2018, falling to the Nittany Lions of Penn State - York 73-30 on Saturday afternoon.
With the loss, the Cannoneers' record dips to 4-5, and the Nittany Lions move to 5-7 on the season.
"We played a very talented and well-coached team today," said head coach Sade Jackson. "Our effort was there but it's tough to win games when you're outrebounded and turn the ball over. Good thing we have another chance to get after it tomorrow afternoon."
Offensively for Pratt, Idalia Kaplan scored a team-high 12 points to go with seven rebounds, while guard Anna Bryce posted a stat line of 11 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks.
Up Next: Pratt will complete their weekend trip in Pennsylvania on Sunday, as they travel to battle the Nittany Lions of Penn State - Wilkes Barre. A 1:00 pm tipoff is scheduled.
