BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's basketball team (3-2) erased a 16 point first half deficit to roll past the King's College NY, 98-71 on Thursday evening.

King Turnbull (Houston, TX) scored a career high 23 points on 7-10 from the floor and a perfect 7-7 from the free throw line. Griffin Levine (Dallas, TX) added 20 points and eight assists while Patrick O'Gorman (Glen Ridge, NJ) finished with 14 points, five assists and five rebounds.

With just under eight minutes remaining in the first half, King's built up a 33-17 advantage, the largest it would have in the game. Over the next six minutes, Pratt locked down on defense, holding King's to just five points while scoring 24 to take a 41-38 lead. Pratt scored the final five points of the half to take a 46-40 lead into the break.

The Cannoneers would build it's lead to double-digits shortly into the second half and grow it to 17 with 16 minutes remaining in regulation. With 11:49 remaining, Pratt reached a 20 point lead, which it would not fall below for the remainder of the game.

Pratt continued to build its lead over the final 10 minutes before winning by 27.

The Cannoneers finished the game with 98 points with 45 coming from off the bench, both season highs. Pratt's 10 three-pointers was the second most on the season.

Pratt returns to action on Saturday when it hosts Northern Vermont Lyndon at 1 pm.
