Men's Soccer Plays to Scoreless Tie in Home Opener

BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute men's soccer team (0-1-1) played to a scoreless tie in its home opener to Penn State Hazleton on Sunday afternoon.

The first half saw solid defense by both teams as keeper Carter Boliek (Fayetteville, NC/Fayetteville Academy) finished with three saves in net in the first half. 

Pratt had opportunities in the second half, finishing with five shots but could not convert any. The defense was solid once again, allowing just five shots.

Boliek finished with seven saves and his first shutout of the season in net.

The Cannoneers return to action on Wednesday when it hosts NJCU at Randall's Island at 6 pm.
