BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's basketball team (12-9) had four players in double-figures as it bested Vaughn College for its 12th win of the season, 90-68 on Tuesday evening.
Griffin Levine (Dallas, TX) led the way off the bench with 26 points and six rebounds.
Ace Bibbs (Philadelphia, PA) finished with 16 points on 5-6 from the floor including three dunks.
Patrick O'Gorman (Glen Ridge, NJ) notched his first double-double of the season, finishing with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
King Turnbull (Houston, TX) added 15 points.
For the second straight game, Pratt got off to a quick start as it scored 15 of the first 19 points to take a 15-4 lead. The Cannoneers defense was stellar in the first half as Vaughn didn't reach double digits until the 9:56 mark.Â
Leading 20-13, Pratt scored 16 of the next 19 points to open up its largest lead of the game at 36-20. Over the final four minutes, Pratt outscored Vaughn 10-5 to take a 46-25 lead into the halftime break.
In the second half, the closest the Warriors would get was 14. Pratt led by 20 or more for over 10 minutes in the half including by as many as 28 before taking the game by 22.
For the game, Pratt shot 32-67 (47.8%) from the floor and knocked down nine three-pointers.
The Cannoneers return to action on Sunday when it hosts RISD at 3 pm.
