MANHATTAN, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's basketball team (14-9) rolled to its fourth straight win with a 82-77 win over Touro College on Tuesday evening.
Griffin Levine (Dallas, TX) scored 30 points including 20 in the first half.
Ace Bibbs (Philadelphia, PA) added 15 points and seven rebounds while
King Turnbull (Houston, TX) added nine points and 11 rebounds.
Pratt started off slow in the first half as it trailed 18-10 eight minutes into the game. Over the next six minutes, the Cannoneers outscored Touro 15-4 to take a 25-22 advantage.
After Touro tied the game at 27 with just under five minutes remaining, Pratt ended the half on a 16-5 run to take a 43-32 lead into halftime.
The first five minutes of the second half were controlled by Touro as it used a 16-2 run to take a 48-45 lead. The game went back and forth over the next eight minutes as tied the game at 60 at the 8:26 mark. Over the next two minutes, Pratt rolled off the next 11 points to retake a commanding 71-60 lead.
Pratt's lead would remain double-digits for a majority of the final eight minutes. Despite Touro scoring the final six points, the Cannoneers held on for the five-point win.
The Cannoneers return to action for its season finale as well as Senior Night on Friday when it hosts Cooper Union at 7 pm.
