BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's women's basketball team (2-3) fell short in a home matchup with Five Towns College, 67-60 on Saturday afternoon.
Kylie Grant led the way for the Cannoneers, finishing with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists.Â
Natalie Graf recorded her first career double-double, tallying 15 points and 12 rebounds.Â
Sophie Bischoff narrowly missed her second straight double-double, finishing with 9 points and 10 rebounds.
Pratt outscored Five Towns in the fourth quarter, 20-16. Trailing by as many as 9, Pratt used an 8-0 with 5:18 remaining in regulation to get within one, it's closest deficit since the first quarter. Despite getting within one, Pratt was not able to close the gap any furhur as Five Towns scored the next seven points to regain an 8 point advantage, before eventually winning by 7.
As a team, Pratt finished with 55 rebounds including 25 on the offensive glass, 6 steald, and 3 blocks.
Pratt returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts Hunter College at 7 pm.
