STATEN ISLAND, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's and women's indoor track & field programs recorded eight school records in its opening season meet at the Bill Ward Invitational on Saturday evening.
Five school records were set on the women's side.
Siena Sujitno set a school record in the 60m dash in a time of 8.25. Â Sujitno also set a school record in the 200m race, running in a time of 28.47.
Ava Hunwick's time of 49.45 in the 300m race was the third school record for the Cannoneers. Â
Lauren Walker 3:28.43 in the 1000m race and
Nadia Rawle's 4.77m in the long jump were also school records for the program.
On the men's side, three school records were broken.
Thomas Perrone ran the 1000m in a time of 2:40.52. Â
Paden Spencer's time of 8:53.09 in the 3000m was the second school record broken. Â The third record was captured by
Asa Brandyberry in the shotput, throwing 11.27m.
Pratt returns to action on January 14th at the Spartan Invite hosted by St. Thomas Aquinas College.
