BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's women's basketball team (3-8) faltered late in the fourth quarter by Baruch College, dropping the contest on MLK Day, 67-60.
Natalie Graf scored a career high 20 points on 6-13 from the floor including knocking down four three-pointers. Â
Katy O'Connor added 15 points and 22 rebounds while
Kinako Miyake scored nine points on three three-pointers.
Baruch took an early 14-12 lead at the end of the first quarter.
In the second quarter, Pratt used a 7-0 run midway through the quarter to gain a 24-20 advantage.  With the game tied at 28, Pratt scored the final six points of the half to take a 34-28 lead into the break.
The Cannoneers scored the first seven points of the third quarter to cap off a 13-0 run to take a 41-28 lead, Pratt's largest of the game. Â
Trailing by six heading into the final quarter, Baruch outscored Pratt 10-4 over the first three minutes to tie the game at 53. Â Baruch continued the run over the next two minutes, scoring seven straight points to gain a 60-53 lead.
Pratt was able to get within four with a minute remaining, but could not get any closer, dropping the game, 67-60.
Pratt returns to action on Thursday when it hosts Berkeley College at 7 pm.
