MONMOUTH, NJ - The Pratt Institute's men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Monmouth University Winter Collegiate Invitational on Saturday.
On the men's side,
Paden Spencer brok the school record with a second place finish in the 3000m, finishing in 8:48.38. Â
Thomas Perrone and
Bruce Westgate both ran sub five minutes in the mile, finishing in a time of 4:33.15 and 4:48.66, respectively.
Perrone also broke the school record in the 500m race, finishing in a time of 1:12.88.
Jack Phelan added a 17th place finish in the triple jump, jumping to a distance of 11.75m. Â In the weight throw,
Asa Brandyberry set the school mark with a distance of 10.63m.
On the women's side, the 4x400 meter relay team of
Ava Hunwick, ALexis O'Rourke,
Andrea Santos, and
Mia Wong ran to a third place finish in a time of 5:05.93.
In the 60m hurdles, Wong earned a school record with a time of 12.71. Â
Christina Sancho-Spore also set a program record in the 800m, finishing in 2:40.05.
