STONY BROOK, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's and women's track & field teams competed in its first outdoor meet of the season at the Snow Flake Classic hosted by Stony brook University on Saturday.
On the women's side,
Siena Sujitno earned a third place finish in the 100m dash, finishing in a time of 13.77.  She also earned a 9th place finish in the 200m dash in a time of 29.4.
Christina Sancho-Spore ran to a 5th place finish in the 3000m race, running in a time of 12:07.46.
Kayla Schara earned her first career victory in the long jumping in a distance of 4.11m.
On the men's side,
Thomas Perrone earned a 6th place finish in the 3000m race, finishing in a time of 9:37.06. Â
Bruce Westgate was right behind, finishing in 7th in a time of 9:52.31.
In the long jump,
Jack Phelan finished in 5th place with a distance of 5.7m.
Pratt returns to action on Saturday when it travels to Rowan University for the Oscar Moore Invitational.
