BROOKLYN, NY - The Pratt Institute's men's tennis team (3-1) defeated Vaughn College in a close matchup, 5-4 on Saturday afternoon.
Mehul Bhargava and
Ryan Nelsen were victorious at first singles, 10-8. At second singles,
Cole Rudy and
Matthew Stachura earned the win, 8-6.
Bhargava rolled to a singles win in the one spot, 6-0, 7-6. Nelsen earned the win at second singles after his opponent retired in the first set.
The winning point was won at six singles by
Alejandro Espina, 6-1, 6-1.
Pratt returns to action on Sunday when it hosts the Webb Institute at 12 pm.
