NEW HAVEN, CT - The Pratt Institute's men's and women's track & field teams had a strong showing at the ECAC Championships to end the season on May 18th and 19th.
On the men's side,
Asa Brandyberry earned his first career victory in the hammer throw with a distance of 35.85 meters. Â He also placed third in the discuss throw with a distance of 36.54 meters.
In the 1500 meter race,
Thomas Perrone earned a second place finish with a time of 4:55.07. Â
Dominic Paolini finished in 4th place in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:39.76.
The men's team finished in 7th place with 29 points. Â NJCU earned the win with 138 points.
On the women's side,
Siena Sujitno earned a 4th place finish in the 100 meter dash in a time of 13.47.  She also finished in 5th place in the long jump with a distance of 4.77 meters.
The Cannoneers finished in 10th place with nine points. Â Goucher College earned the victory with 108 points.
