HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Sophomore Kylie Grant registered a big 29-point, 22-rebound double-double but the Pratt Institute women's basketball team fell to Centenary University, 71-44, on Wednesday night.
Grant held game-high honors in both categories for her second 20-20 game of the season and eighth double-double of the season. She shot 10-of-28 from the field and swiped three steals for her 16th straight game scoring in double-figures.
Kinako Miyake added eight points and three boards. Almudena Valenzuela chipped in five points adn two caroms.
Brie Opdyke recorded a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double to lead Centenary (9-6) and Viviana Mendez added 11 points as a reserve.
The Cyclones took control with a 25-8 first quarter. After trailing 43-16 at the intermission, Pratt (1-13) played level with the hosts 28-all over the final 20 minutes.
Pratt returns home to open a four-game home stand at the ARC on Monday, January 16 hosting Ramapo College in an MLK Day matchup starting at noon.
