BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Sophomore Kylie Grant netted 20-plus points for the third-straight game, but the Pratt Institute women's basketball team dropped a 86-39 decision to neighborhood foes St. Joseph's University, NY (Brooklyn) on Tuesday evening at The Hill Center.
Grant finished with 21 points and fell one carom shy of her 10th double-double, pulling down a team-high nine. She also swiped three steals.
Senior Kinako Miyake fell one point shy of double figures with nine and two rebounds and Victoria Liu chipped in seven points and two assists.
For St. Joseph's (10-8), Emma Kiley turned in a 34-point, 18-rebound double-double and Destiny Hurt had a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double.
Pratt (1-18) trailed 33-19 at the half before St. Joseph's broke the game open with a strong third quarter.
The black-and-gold return to the ARC floor for back-to-back home games next week and host Berkeley College on Monday, February 6 starting at 6:30 p.m.
