ALBANY, N.Y. – The Pratt Institute men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback to Russell Sage College on Tuesday evening at the ACP Athletic Complex.
After nearly 20 minutes of scoreless play Ty Plumley opened the scoring for Russell Sage (4-6-4) in what would be the lone goal of the opening half. The Gators added an insurance goal just over 10 minutes into the second stanza.
Sage held a 22-7 advantage in shots for the contest and a slight 8-7 edge in corners. Bryan Hong-Dominguez fired three shots (two on goal) and Vengkheang Meng, Theo Goldman, Griffin Benkovsky and Kai von Lipsey each registered a shot.
Carter Tillman made four saves in 62 minutes of action in goal while Dimitris Papagiannakopoulos stopped two shots in 28 minutes.
Pratt (1-7-1) concludes a three-game road stand on Thursday, October 19 heading to borough rivals Brooklyn College for a 6 p.m. kickoff.
