STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Pratt Institute men's and women's track and field teams continued their 2023-23 campaign at the Fasttrack National Invitational on Friday afternoon at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
The team saw strong performances in the relays with the women's 4x400 relay of Ella Ambroggio, Kayla Galvan, Kathleen Chen, and Maria Xioufariadou teaming up for a sixth-place finish in 4:45.73. The men's distance medley relay of Bruce Westgate, Ian Chen, Dominic Paolini and Thomas Perrone combined for a time of 11:41.83 to nab seventh place.
The women's distance medley relay of Brianna Martinez-Burns, Ava Hunwick, Emily Byun and Christina Sancho-Spore rounded out a trio of top-10 finishes with a ninth-place time of 14:33.54.
Siena Sujitno secured the top individual performance with a 28.22 in the 200 meter run, good for 61st place.
Pratt heads to Newport News, Virginia to compete in the 2023 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Christopher Newport University on February 17 and 18.
