Sujitno Earns Finals Appearance, Sancho-Spore Breaks 800 Record at NYU DIII Invitational

Sujitno Earned seventh place in the 60-meter dash

NEW YORK – Sophomore Siena Sujitno turned in the top performance for the Pratt Institute men's and women's track and field teams at the NYU DIII Invitational on Friday evening at the Armory. The lone Cannoneer finals qualifier on the night, she took seventh place in the 60-meter dash in a time of 8.23.

Sophomore Christina Sancho-Spore broke the school record in the 800-meter run in 2:31.12, good for 21st place.

For the men, Thomas Perrone turned in a personal best in the 800-meter run in 2:01.50 for 22nd place and Bruce Westgate recorded a personal best in the mile, clocking in at 4:40.38, securing 33rd place.

Pratt is scheduled to compete in the Big Apple Invitational next Saturday, February 11 at Ocean Breeze in Staten Island.
