BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Cameron Windt drained six three-pointers and poured in a game-high 24 points, but the Pratt Institute men's basketball fell 71-54 to Sarah Lawrence College on Tuesday evening in non-conference action at the Activity Resource Center.
Windt finished 7-of-14 overall and 6-of-9 from three-point land and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe to fall two shy of matching his career high. Mekhi Davis added nine points with six boards and Thomas Graetz chipped in five points off the bench with a pair of rebounds.
Both teams struggled to find the range early, but Sarah Lawrence (2-3) used a 10-3 run to build a seven-point separation and expanded to a 33-22 cushion at halftime.
Pratt (0-4) saw the deficit widen in the second before clawing back late scoring the final 10 points of the contest.
Braden Burman led three Gryphons in double figures with 15 and Aiden Morel added 13 off the bench. Sarah Lawrence forced 17 more miscues (28-11) and maintained a 26-9 discrepancy in points off turnovers.
Pratt heads to Pennsylvania to open a stretch of three straight road games, facing the University of Valley Forge on Saturday, November 23 at 2 p.m.
