Men’s Basketball Denied by Dickinson

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute men's basketball team fell to visiting Dickinson College, 81-39, in non-conference action at the Activity Resource Center on Saturday afternoon.

Matias Alkemade led the Cannoneers (0-10) with seven points, seven rebounds, four steals, a block and an assist. Sebastian Roda added six points, four rebounds and two steals. Thomas Graetz chipped in five points and two boards.

Two quick buckets from Alkemade and Mekhi Davis to open the contest gave Pratt an early 4-0 lead but Dickinson (1-5) responded with an 11-0 run and never trailed again. After a 33-25 separation at halftime, the visitors broke open the game in the second stanza.

David Petrusev led four players scoring in double figures with 21 points off the bench. Andrew Cerullo added 14.

Pratt takes a break for finals week before playing their final game of 2024 and their last tune-up before beginning Atlantic East play on Saturday, December 14 welcoming York College for a 1 p.m. showdown. The Cannoneers will also honor senior Ace Bibbs prior to the contest playing in his last collegiate game.
