FLUSHING, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute men's tennis team suffered an 8-1 defeat at the hands of Baruch College on Sunday afternoon at the USTA National Tennis Center.
Mehul Bhargava collected the lone point for Pratt (5-2) at No. 2 singles after his opponent retired in the second set up a set, 3-6, 2-3 (retired).
Caleb Callahan played a tough match at No. 5 singles dropping a first set tiebreak in a 7-6 (4), 7-5 defeat. Calder Tillinghast also had a strong effort at No. 4 singles, falling 7-5, 6-2.
Pratt looks to bounce back traveling to Farmingdale State on Wednesday, April 10 for a 5 p.m. showdown.
