FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute women's volleyball team dropped a straight-set decision (25-15, 25-13, 25-16) to Farmingdale State College in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
Colleen Russell and Natalie Dziadzio led the Pratt (1-3) attack with five kills each, both with a block assist each and Russell bringing up six digs and Dziadzio helping up four digs. Kelsy Padilla had three kills with seven digs. Emily Sontag dished out 14 assists with four digs and Emma Leavey anchored the back row with 10 digs.
Pratt saw their strongest frame in the third with five ties and three lead changes before the Rams assembled a 9-2 run to pull away for good.
The Cannoneers travel to the Bronx on Tuesday, September 17 to face University of Mount Saint Vincent with first-serve at 7 p.m.
