BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute women's soccer team was unable to snap Kean University's three-match win streak, falling 2-0 in a non-conference home test on Saturday afternoon at Aviator Sports and Events Center.
As Kean (4-2) has held their three previous opponents, Pratt (3-4) was unable to put one past the Cougar keeper in defeat. Sonya Brewer scored the opening goal in the 35th minute and Carly Gleason scored five minutes into the second stanza.
Emma Gaspari made nine saves for the Cannoneers to keep the result respectable as the Cougars finished with a 25-3 shot discrepancy and 8-1 advantage in corners.
Siena Sujitno, Emma Pratt and Claire Hook registered the three shots for Pratt.
The Cannoneers travel to the Bronx to face Lehman College on Tuesday, September 24 kicking off at 5 p.m.
