SCRANTON, Pa. — Cameron Windt led all scorers with 18 points in a losing effort as the Pratt Institute men's basketball team fell 81-59 to Marywood University in Atlantic East Conference play on Saturday afternoon.
Windt shot 8-for-16 overall and also pulled down four boards with two steals. Justin Caver added 12 points off the bench, knocking down 3-for-6 from three-point land with three assists. Matias Alkemade posted game-highs of 12 rebounds and four assists to go along with seven points. Thomas Graetz added nine points with four rebounds and two thefts.
Pratt (0-13, 0-2) played catchup after Marywood (9-7, 1-2) scored a triple on the opening possession of the contest. A Caver three-pointer put the Cannoneers within two at 12-10 at the 12-minute mark of the first, before the Pacers responded with a 13-2 run to build a double-digit advantage they maintained the rest of the way.
Trevor Seitz paced Marywood with 15 points and Brendan Franko chipped in 13 points as 14 difference Pacers contributed to the box score and combined to shoot 52 percent.
Pratt returns to the ARC for their first home conference game of the season, hosting Immaculata University on Wednesday, January 15 tipping off at 7 p.m.
