BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute men's volleyball team notched a comfortable straight-set home victory over Medgar Evers College on Tuesday evening at the Activity Resource Center.
Pratt (5-6) dominated in all facets landing 39 aces and hitting .484 for the match with 22 kills, while limiting their Kings County rivals to just one kill on the evening. The Cannoneers trailed just briefly in the opening points before cruising to a 25-7, 25-7, 25-10 triumph.
Max Wang and Jason Raymond both served up a career-high 13 aces and had a perfect hitting night with Raymond putting away six kills on six swings and Wang five in five attempts.
Brooks Reid put down a match-best eight kills on .385 hitting with three aces. Wallace Hallot also landed a career-best five aces and added a kill. Micah-Jude Upshaw contributed two kills on two swings.
Pratt wraps up their non-conference schedule on Thursday, March 27 hosting Clinton Hill and Willoughby Avenue rivals St. Joseph's University for a 7 p.m. match at the ARC.
