LATHAM, N.Y. — Pratt Institute men's volleyball senior Max Wang (Shenzhen, China) has been named to the United East All-Conference Second Team, as announced by the league office following a vote by the conference's head coaches.
The honor caps a brilliant final season for the outside hitter, who served as the Cannoneers' offensive and defensive catalyst throughout the 2026 campaign. Wang led Pratt in nearly every major category, finishing with a team-high 160 kills, 209.0 points, 46 service aces and 143 digs.
Wang recorded three double-doubles on the season, highlighted by a massive 22-kill, 15-dig performance in a five-set battle against Neumann University and a 15-kill, career-high 22-dig effort against Lehman College.
Among his United East peers, Wang led the league in aces per set (0.71), ranked fifth in digs per set (2.30), sixth in points per set (3.43) and ninth in kills per set (2.69), cementing his status as one of the league's most versatile players.
It is the first all-conference selection in Wang's career and the third All-United East selection in program history following Jason Raymond (first team, 2024) and Brooks Reid (third team, 2025).
