LANCASTER, Pa. — Pratt Institute sophomore Hannah Kim was named the Atlantic East Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 13, 2025, the conference announced Tuesday.
Kim, a thrower from Camas, Wash., delivered a strong showing at the DeSales Invitational on Saturday. She earned second place in the javelin with a throw of 29.38 meters and finished fourth in the discus, posting a mark of 31.22 meters. Additionally, Kim placed 19th in the hammer throw with a distance of 23.85 meters.
It is the first weekly accolade of Kim's career and the second garnered by a Cannoneer this season with Kaeden Green winning Field Athlete of the Week honors two weeks ago.
Pratt returns to action at the Vassar Spring Invite on Saturday, April 26.
