FLUSHING, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute women's tennis team delivered a commanding 6-1 victory over Bard College in their home opener at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Cannoneers (2-0) swept five of six singles matches and captured two of three doubles contests, showcasing depth and dominance throughout the lineup in their first home match of the season.

In singles play, Beatrice Crespo led the charge with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 2 position. Srishti Agarwal followed with a commanding 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 3, while Judith Song grabbed a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 4. Satoka Shibasaki and Olivia Tao added matching 6-1, 6-1 wins in the No. 5 and No. 6 positions.

The Cannoneers also impressed in doubles. Song paired with Agarwal to capture a 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles, and Shibasaki teamed with Tao to secure a 6-2 triumph at No. 3. Though the top pair dropped a close 7-5 decision, Pratt had already clinched the doubles point on the other two courts.
