GREENWOOD, Ind. — Pratt Institute junior Emily Carlson (Utica, N.Y.) has been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball team.
A forward and game arts major, Carlson was a key presence in the frontcourt for the Cannoneers, starting in 16 of her 20 appearances. She finished third on the team in rebounding, pulling down 8.7 boards per game, and was second on the squad with 12 blocks. Carlson also chipped in 4.8 points and 1.3 steals per contest.
Carlson's season was highlighted by a double-double against York on November 12, where she tallied 11 points and a season-high 14 rebounds. She scored a season-best 12 points against Marywood on February 7 and grabbed double-digit rebounds on 10 occasions..
The Academic All-District® Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
