Men's Volleyball Celebrates Senior Day Hosting Wilson

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — On a day dedicated to its graduating class, the Pratt Institute men's volleyball team fell to Wilson College, 3-0 (25-21, 25-11, 25-13), in a United East Conference match on Saturday afternoon at the Activity Resource Center.

Before the match, the Cannoneers honored their four seniors for their contributions to the program: Jude Fox (San Francisco, Calif.), Brooks Reid (Winston Salem, N.C.), Morvens Regis (Brooklyn, N.Y.), and Max Wang (Shenzhen, China).

The senior class led the way for the Cannoneers in their penultimate home match. Wang and Reid shared the team lead with eight kills apiece, with Wang adding a team-high 10 digs. Fox earned the start and contributed two digs, while Regis added a block assist. Nathan Kim (Irvine, Calif.) dished out 17 assists and collected nine digs.

The Cannoneers (5-13, 2-5 United East) battled the second-place Phoenix (15-8, 6-1 United East) closely in a competitive opening set that saw both teams separated by less than three for nearly the entire frame. Pratt raced out to an early 4-1 lead, and after multiple ties, the latest at 14-14, Wilson created separation with a late run. The Cannoneers clawed back to within two at 22-20 before the visitors scored three of the final four points of the stanza. The Phoenix controlled the tempo in the second and third sets to secure the victory.

Wilson was led by an efficient attack. Ryan Koontz finished with a match-high 11 kills on .320 hitting, while Jacob McCoy was nearly perfect, slamming nine kills on 12 attempts without an error (.750) and adding five blocks.

The Cannoneers will conclude the 2026 regular season at home on Monday, March 30, hosting league-leading Lancaster Bible College in their United East finale. The opening serve is set for 7 p.m.
