BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Pratt Institute junior Patrick O'Gorman and sophomore Cameron Hatcher have been named to the 2023 All-Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Second Team, announced this afternoon as voted upon by the league's head coaches.
Both players receive year-end praise for the second straight season. Hatcher was named Rookie of the Year last season and O'Gorman makes a repeat appearace on the second team.
O'Gorman finished fourth in the C2C in scoring averaging 16.8 points a night and led the league in assists (4.4). The league's top sharpshooter averaged three trifectas a game (20th in Division III) with a 42 percent connect rate (26th in Division III). He joined the coveted 1,000-point scoring club on Saturday, reaching the mark in 62 games played and becoming the first Cannoneer to reach the milestone since Andrew Yaglenski in 2018.
Hatcher stuffed the stat sheet as the team's second-leading scorer and leading rebounder and defender, posting averages of 14.6 points (8th in C2C), 7.9 rebounds (3rd in C2C), 1.8 steals (4th in C2C) and 1.0 blocks (3rd in C2C) per game. Four of his 17 double-digit scoring games went for 20-plus points, highlighted by a career-high 29 against Sarah Lawrence. The sophomore also recorded six double-doubles that was second in the league.
Pratt heads to Santa Cruz, California as the No. 6 seed for the 2023 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Championship and will face No. 3 seeded Salisbury University in a quarterfinal matchup on Thursday at 4 p.m. eastern.
