BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute men's volleyball team dropped a straight-set decision to Manhattanville University on Wednesday evening at the Activity Resource Center in their first match on campus in nearly a year.
Six different Cannoneers (0-4) recorded a kill led by Devaun Longley and Jason Raymond with three kills each. Longley hit .500 and also stuffed a pair of assisted blocks to record a team-high four points. Micah-Jude Upshaw, Max Wang and Wallace Hallot chipped in two kills each.
Manhattanville (2-3) never trailed in the match and won by set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-11. Emil Medrano slammed 11 kills and hit .588 and Joe Gandarillas had nine kills at a .533 clip to lead the Valiants.
Pratt travels to York College next Tuesday, February 4 for a non-conference match starting at 6:30 p.m.
