GREENWOOD, Ind. — Pratt Institute junior Colleen Russell (Asbury, N.J.) has been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball team.
A middle hitter and printmaking major, Russell led the Cannoneers in kills (156), points (207.0) and service aces (27), while adding 34 total blocks and 113 digs across 71 sets this fall. In Atlantic East play, she produced 54 kills in 23 sets and seven aces, hitting .159 against league foes.
Russell's season featured standout performances, highlighted by 14 kills, five aces and a .440 hitting percentage in a five-set win over Bard on Oct. 14, along with a 12-kill night against Baruch on Oct. 9Â
The Academic All-District® Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
