BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute equestrian team returned to riding for the first time in 2026 and tied for fifth at the IHSA Pratt Show on Sunday at the Jamaica Bay Riding Academy.
Pratt got a standout ride from Audrey Flatt (Nashville, Tenn.), who won Intermediate Equitation over Fences to pace the Cannoneers' middle group. Yagmur Omurluoglu (White Rock, British Columbia) added another first-place finish, taking top honors in Pre-Novice Equitation.
The Cannoneers' co-captains anchored the Open division with steady points. Alin Kutan (Istanbul, Turkey) finished fourth over fences and followed with a third-place ride on the flat. Grace Plunkett (Los Angeles, Calif.) contributed a third-place finish over fences and placed fourth on the flat.
Pratt's depth showed up across several sections of the order. Addie Hollon (Santa Ynez, Calif.) took a pair of thirds in Pre-Limit Equitation over Fences and on the flat in Limit. Leilani Hamilton (Queens Village, N.Y.) took third in Novice, and Aahan Pradhan (Gurgaon, India) added a fourth-place Novice finish.
