NEW YORK – The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) has accepted Pratt Institute as an affiliate member in women's tennis for the 2026-27 academic year, and will play a full conference schedule in the fall of 2026.
Pratt joining the CUNYAC in women's tennis comes one year before the institution, along with Saint Elizabeth University, joins the eight current CUNYAC institutions (Baruch College, Brooklyn College, City College of New York, Hunter College, John Jay College, Lehman College, Medgar Evers College and York College) in forming a new NCAA Division III conference that begins play in the 2027-28 academic year.
The Cannoneers will bring the CUNYAC to eight women's tennis-playing institutions, as Pratt joins Baruch, Brooklyn, Hunter, John Jay, Lehman and York, along with affiliate member Albertus Magnus College. Pratt will be immediately eligible for the CUNYAC Women's Tennis Championship, which will be conducted on October 27 & 29, 2026, and the conference's automatic qualification to the NCAA championship as well as weekly award and end-of-season All-Conference recognition.
