NEW YORK, NY - The Pratt Institute's track & field teams competed in its final meet of the indoor season at the Armory College Last Chance on Friday evening.
Lauren Walker (New Orleans, LA) finished in 7th place in the 1000 meters in a time of 3:37.29. In the mile,
Chloe Morris (Bethlehem Township, NJ) had a 23rd place finish in a time of 5:51.42, besting several Division I and II runners.
In the 3000 meters final,
Peg Smith (Littleton, CO) ran to a 16th place finish in a time of 11:26.05 while
Jae Wendell (Romeo, MI) finished in 20th place in a time of 12:10.55.
On the men's side,
Mac Sloan Anderson (Shelburne Falls, MA) finished in 5th place in the 3000 meters final, running in a time of 8:53.19, the second fastest Division III time. In the same event,
Max Yokoo (Chicago, IL) finished in 36th place in a time of 10:12.53 while
Jonathan Leung (Summit, NJ) finished in 38th place in a time of 10:28.81.
In the triple jump,
Jack Phelan (Princeton, NJ) added a top ten finish, finishing in 9th place with a distance of 12.29 meters. He also added a 16th place finish in the Long jump finals with a distance of 5.74 meters.
Pratt kicks off the outdoor season on March 21 when it travels to Staten Island to participate in the Wagner College Invite.
