LANCASTER, Pa. — First-year Justin Cai has been selected as the Atlantic East Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, announced by the league office earlier today.
Cai paced the Cannoneers at the Golden Eagle Invitational on Saturday, lowering his 8-kilometer best to 29:17.5, good for 35th place overall. The first-year has finished first for Pratt in all three races this season and led the team to a 13th-place finish.
It is the first Atlantic East Cross Country weekly accolade earned by a Cannoneer this season.
Cai and the Cannoneers takes a weekend off before running in the Queensborough CC Invitational on Sunday, October 6th in Van Cortlandt Park.
