MILTON, N.Y. — The Pratt Institute men's cross country team placed third at the 2025 Atlantic East Conference Championship at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome in Milton, N.Y., putting three runners in the top 20 to secure a podium finish.
Liam Reilly (East Setauket, N.Y.) led the Cannoneers with a 15th-place finish in 32:00.8 over the 8K course. First-year Jackson Brock (Vicenza, Italy) followed in 33:42.2 for 19th, and classmate Mingyi Chen (Short Hills, N.J.) was 20th in 35:09.2 to keep Pratt's scoring pack in range.
William Stewart (Stuttgart, Germany) placed 30th in 39:41.9, and Davyen Garrett (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.) closed the scoring five in 39th at 47:01.2. The gold-and-black's 1-through-3 held strong through the final loop to lock up third in the team standings.
Marywood captured the team title with a perfect score, sweeping the top seven spots. Bryce Ryder won the individual championship in 28:25.7, followed by teammate Joseph Cardillo in 28:33.4. Immaculata finished second behind top-10 finisher Connor Kakowski (30:04.1).
Pratt's third-place showing marked a solid step in conference competition and was its best finish since joining the conference last season.
