BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Fifth-year guard Kylie Grant put on a brilliant scoring display, but the Pratt Institute women's basketball team fell to Keystone College, 77-50, at home in their final game of 2025 on Saturday afternoon at the Activity Resource Center.
Grant (Dallas, Texas) was nearly unstoppable, pouring in a season-high 35 points — three shy of matching her career-best — on an efficient 15-for-25 shooting from the field. She also added eight rebounds and two assists while playing 37 minutes.
The Cannoneers (1-7) struggled to find their rhythm early, falling behind 33-15 by halftime. However, Pratt showed resilience in the second half, improving its offensive output in each quarter. Grant's relentless scoring fueled a 20-point fourth quarter, but a 30-point final frame from Keystone (2-9) kept the game out of reach.
Sophomore forward Anabela Jakelic (Zagreb, Croatia) had a strong defensive game, contributing six points, nine rebounds, and a career-high four steals. First-year forward Dahlia Dimitrov (Montreal, Canada) pulled down eight rebounds to go with two assists.
Keystone was led by Krista Cortazar, who finished with 24 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks. Phaneirra Barnett recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 boards for the visitors.
The Cannoneers will break for the holidays and return to action on January 7, 2026, to open Atlantic East Conference play at home against Gwynedd Mercy University.
