FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Pratt Institute equestrian team returned to the saddle for the first time in 2025 taking fourth place at the Sacred Head University Winterfest Horse Show on Saturday at Silvermine Farm.
Pratt collected 11 ribbons on the day, highlighted by Aahan Pradhan who placed second in his debut at Pre-Novice Hunter Seat Equitation – after pointing out of Introductory level at the end of the fall semester. Maria Alcivar also took home a second in Introductory Hunter Seat Equitation.Â
The Cannoneers also collected several fourth-place ribbons on the day.
Grace Plunkett nabbed fourth in Open Hunter Seat Equitation over Fences and fourth in Open Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat.
Audrey Flatt and Chloe Joyce both placed fourth in Intermediate Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat.Â
Lauren Morgan scored fourth in Limit Hunter Seat Equitation over Fences and fifth in Limit Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat.
Lisa Volovik placed fourth in Limit Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat and sixth in Limit Hunter Seat Equitation over Fences.
Leilani Hamilton collected fourth in Pre-Novice Hunter Seat Equitation.
Kaitlyn McVeigh secured fifth in Limit Hunter Seat Equitation on the Flat.
Pratt hosts their home show this Sunday, March 2 at the Jamaica Bay Riding Academy.
